Release notes

Live command tailing in the editor and unified run states

0.2.0-beta.13 · August 31, 2026

Follow long-running command output directly in an editor tab, and track clear run outcomes across notifications and chat.

New

  • Open any active command output file to tail its live stream directly in the editor until completion.

Improved

  • Notifications and chat use five clear, consistent run states: completed, needs attention, failed, cancelled, or step limit.
  • Browser new tabs display a clean empty state with quick address entry and local dev-server shortcuts.
  • The agent loop measures tangible progress (edits, new findings, finished jobs) rather than repeated status checks.
Newer release In-place run recovery and custom theme management Older release Composer context ring and synchronized background jobs

Vortex

You describe the work. Vortex plans, edits, verifies, and ships inside your workspace. The editor, terminal, diffs, and browser are how you watch and steer — not where you are expected to write the solution.
