Release notes

A follow-up no longer stops the run

0.2.0-beta.132 · October 7, 2026

The button on a message waiting for a running agent said it would stop the run. It now sends the message into the run. A message the agent has already taken waits for the next step, and a message with an image or attachment waits until the run finishes.

Fixed

  • Sending a follow-up into a running agent no longer stops the run. The button reads Send to agent now.
  • A follow-up the agent has already accepted waits for the next step. That card no longer offers to stop the run.
  • A follow-up with an image or attachment waits until the run finishes. The card says Sends after this run.
  • A sub-agent report or a finished command no longer marks the wrong queued message as sent.

You describe the work. Vortex plans, edits, verifies, and ships inside your workspace. The editor, terminal, diffs, and browser are how you watch and steer — not where you are expected to write the solution.
