Release notes

A finished turn stays in the chat

0.2.0-beta.137 · October 10, 2026

A finished turn could be missing from the chat when its live updates never arrived. The stored messages for that run are put back, including a chat you are not looking at. A new chat stays the one those messages land in.

Fixed

  • A finished turn whose live updates never arrived is restored from the stored messages for that run. A shorter copy of the same answer is replaced with the stored text.
  • The same restore applies to a chat you are not looking at.
  • A new chat and the place those messages are delivered stay the same chat, so a finished answer lands in the chat you are looking at.

You describe the work. Vortex plans, edits, verifies, and ships inside your workspace. The editor, terminal, diffs, and browser are how you watch and steer — not where you are expected to write the solution.
