The live status stops claiming work that has not started
Three ways the status row overstated what was happening, all visible in the same line.
Improved
- A batch the model is still composing reads "Preparing 5 tools" instead of "Running 5 tools". Nothing has started yet, and "Running" was the only verb that claimed otherwise.
- Work with no row of its own is named for what it is: "Updating 5 tasks" for a checklist rewrite, "Checking 2 jobs" for a background sweep, "Asking 2 questions" for a follow-up, "Browsing 2 pages" for the browser. All of these were summarised as "Running N tools" — an execution verb and a "tools" noun for calls you cannot open.
Fixed
- A command you yielded to the background no longer inflates the next run's status line. It deliberately survives its own run's end, so it was still being counted while a new run was on screen.
