The agent can ask for another folder
When a task needs another repo or folder, the agent can now ask to add it to the workspace. Nothing is added until you approve.
New
- Ask to add a folder. The agent names the folder and why it needs it, and the run pauses on a card with Approve and Deny. Approve adds it to the workspace, just like “Add folder” in the sidebar, and the file tree and Source Control update. Deny lets the agent carry on without it.
- Works in local and SSH workspaces; in an SSH workspace the folder is on the host.
- The card is asked every time: there is no “allow for the rest of the run”, and unattended runs, fleet tasks and sub-agents cannot add folders.
