Release notes

Connect finishes the job, and Worktree sends stay put

0.2.0-beta.184 · November 8, 2026

Signing in from a Connect card now lets the agent carry on, and switching chats during a first Worktree send no longer moves it into the other chat.

Fixed

  • Connect left the agent waiting. After you signed in to an MCP server from the card in the chat, the card said Ready but the agent kept waiting until you pressed Stop. It now continues as soon as sign-in finishes, also when you connect from Settings → Integrations.
  • First Worktree send in the wrong chat. Switching chats while a new Worktree was being created moved the message and its run into the chat you switched to, where Stop could not reach it. The message now stays in its own chat: if you switch away, it is not sent, and your text is still there when you come back.
  • The agent missing file changes. Waiting for a file to change could miss a change made the moment it started watching, and could report a change when nothing had changed. It now looks at the file’s content.
Older release Terminals the agent gets right, and work that survives a restart

You describe the work. Vortex plans, edits, verifies, and ships inside your workspace. The editor, terminal, diffs, and browser are how you watch and steer — not where you are expected to write the solution.
