Release notes
MCP Connect, unified Changes, and follow-ups
Remote MCP servers sign in through the system browser, agent edits live in one Changes home, and follow-ups queue above the composer.
New
- Native MCP OAuth 2.1 Connect in chat and Settings → Integrations, with PKCE S256, token refresh, and Connect / Reconnect / Disconnect.
- Mentioning a remote MCP server that needs sign-in pauses with a Connect card before the first model step.
- Empty chat sessions include an inline API key paste field that detects your provider and picks a recommended model.
Fixed
- After MCP Connect, follow-ups like “I authenticated” still load that server’s tools, and inspect reports callable
mcp_<server>_<tool>names instead of telling you to refresh the client.
Improved
- Follow-up messages queue as compact cards above the composer; ⌘Enter sends immediately by stopping the current run.
- Unified agent edit review under a single Changes home across tabs, menus, palettes, and run recaps.
- Run recap Changes opens the session's file changes even when Review mode is disabled.
- Restoring from an agent checkpoint is labeled Continue across recovery cards and resume banners.
- Streamable HTTP MCP responses parse both Server-Sent Events and JSON-RPC.
- Greeting quick actions only show file-scoped chips when a file is open.
- Maximized floating prompt bar displays labeled Queue and Steer buttons matching the chat composer.
