Today's spend sits in the title bar

New

• The title bar shows today's spend and token use across every chat. Click it for this month, the request count, and the top models. Right-click to show cost, tokens, or hide it. Settings → Appearance has the same switch.
• The helper model decides whether a text reply is finished, and whether an instruction asked only for documentation. A continue score at or above 0.5 keeps the run going. A docs-only instruction that then edits code warns, and the edit still runs. The stop check is skipped when that helper is the main model. A failed check does not trap the run. vortex stats prints the mean continue score. The question text is not logged.

Removed

• best_of_n is gone. Parallel work uses spawn_agent.

Fixed

• The command palette no longer stacks a section header on the row above it. Each row keeps its own height when the results change.
