A follow-up keeps its status
Sending another message after a finished turn could leave nothing under that message while the model was still starting. The status row now stays there, and its timer counts the current wait rather than the whole run.
Fixed
- A follow-up keeps the status row under the new message until the model answers, including a long wait before the first token.
- The elapsed time counts the current step — waiting for the model, a tool, or a stall — not the whole run.
- Switching or restoring a chat points that row at the chat on screen.
