Hardened desktop, bug reports that reach admin

Production CSP no longer allows script eval, the Browser overlay is isolated from the main webview, and in-app bug reports can reach the Vortex Admin panel.

Fixed

  • Browser and MCP approval cards follow React hook rules, so those requests no longer skip state.
  • A cancelled verification run still counts as failed, so a stopped check is not treated as a pass.
  • Intel CI uses the current macos-15-intel runner instead of retired macos-13.

New

  • Report a bug can send categorized, authenticated reports to Admin, with local log plus retry when offline.
  • Browser overlay has its own minimal capability; Browser DevTools require developer mode.
  • Release Linux servers are built with the pinned Rust channel inside a digest-pinned zigbuild image.
  • Shipped binaries keep the symbol table so native crash backtraces stay useful.
