Clearer updates, with a real DMG fallback
After a restart you see whether the update landed, Settings → About shows last-checked and install progress, and the DMG fallback comes from the signed manifest instead of a guessed URL.
Fixed
- Download or install failures keep the checked update so Retry works without checking again.
- The update chip stays visible for actionable errors, not only when a version is already known.
- Restarting no longer looks like success before the new version is running.
New
- After restart, a toast confirms the new version or offers the signed DMG if the update did not finish.
- Settings → About shows last-checked time, download progress, and Download DMG from the updater manifest.
